I CAN believe I went two months without updating this thing. I get so behind, but also cause I get caught up in whatever is going on in the moment that I forget about other things. Then those duties just build over time. However, now that the weather is so much warmer and the sun is staying out WAY longer than it once did, that means I have much more opportunity to play!
I hope everyone had an amazing Spring Break! I know I did, cause I went hiking and took some pics! Even weeks later I am still super pumped about them and absolutely hate that it came and then went. I’m so thankful for the opportunity, only God knows how long I had been waiting to see the sights that I did see. I’ve posted many of the pictures on my instagram account ( if you don’t already follow me there, please do @erinparrker ), but I created a page on here that shows almost all of the images, even some I hadn’t posted anywhere. So go check that out by CLICKING HERE RIGHT NOW! I know caps are annoying to some, but it was so amazing and I’m still excited about it!
As of right now, I am currently in a Dollar Store Photo Challenge. I went to my local Dollar General and shopped around for some cheap stuff to hopefully use in creating different kind of images. I’m currently on image #2, which I should be posting on instagram later today. Be on the look out for that. In case you missed the first one, here it is below:
I was beside my dresser drawer below a window, with a stack of old t-shirts that really needs to be made into a quilt terribly bad rubbing up against me. Just goes to show that you can make a good photo anywhere if you know how. Also, camera settings have a lot to do with the look of your image. My bedroom was actually well lit with natural light when I did this image. I think it may have been around Noon when I began working on it.
Also began finishing up Julianna’s final Senior Portraits. We went on the football field during the time I normally never take pictures. I’m more of an evening/goldenlight girl. But I also had to be at a wedding later. So me and Ju had at it for about an hour and I am very pleased so far with how they are beginning to turn out!
So whats next????Hopefully, if the weather isn’t too horrible this Friday night, I’ll be filming a Daddy/Daughter Dance and then next weekend will be Prom. I have some Portraits planned out for a friend of mine. I guess I’m pretty full the rest of April so far.
